I watched Odysseus go through his journey it was both entertaining yet terrifying. My part in his journey wasn’t much but I watched as he went through all these things. He had to struggle in order to make it into my home. I heard of his struggles previous of him entering my home. Him making it this far is surprising enough and later events wont be easy either. My home is never and easy place to be not for anyone. My land is not supposed to be easy though it isn’t meant for living to enter it exists for the dead.
When he entered in my land he had to face struggles of seeing loved ones and getting back to the land of the living. Being gone for so long he probably wouldn’t know of his loved one that had passed away. He wouldn’t know of his future, if his family still loves him or if they are even alive. Then he had to hear the news he will have to face more death of his crew. That is news difficult for anyone to know. Knowing the people you need most are destined to die is rough. He saw his mother had died and now is down in my home. Watching him grieve would be sad for anyone to see, but given that I see it all the time it wasn’t to stressful for me. Also I had Odysseus’s men enter my world to die. I did this because I don’t want to many people to come to my world and think they will all survive. The underworld is supposed to me a dark place not a tourist attraction. After Odysseus left the Underworld he and I both knew it wouldn’t be easy. I still watched him go through his journey even though he was no longer in my land. I then proceeded to watch him through the rest of his journey. When he went and killed all the suitors I thought it was quite interesting to see him and a few others take down so many men. I don’t agree with al the things he has done, but he did succeed through these horrifying events. In the end I am happy he got through these challenges.
